Teen center navigator 

 We are seeking an energetic and engaging Teen Center Navigator to join our team. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming, fun, and safe environment for teens to hang out after school. If you have a passion for working with youth and are skilled in fostering a positive atmosphere, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise teens in a safe and supportive environment.
- Set up and manage gaming systems (xbox, switch, PS5)
- Distribute snacks and manage snack inventory.
- Perform opening and shutdown routines for the facility.
- Connect with teens from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Organize and facilitate engaging activities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to engage and connect with youth.
- Experience in managing gaming systems and organizing activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A champion at Jenga and Madden
- Must be adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment.

- Over 21

Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 2:30 PM - 8:00 PM.
- Occasional weekend shifts for substituting.

The Role:
We're on the hunt for a Social Media Intern who's as passionate about storytelling as they are about social change. You'll be the voice of our mission, sharing our stories, successes, and impacts of our community activities online. If you love crafting compelling content and engaging with an online community, this internship will give you the platform to shine and grow.

Your Mission:

  • Create buzzworthy content that showcases our community block parties, workshops, field trips, and more.

  • Engage with our online community, sparking conversations and spreading positivity.

  • Collaborate with our amazing team to capture the magic of our programs and events.

  • Help grow our social media presence, bringing our mission to new audiences.

  • Experiment with new social media trends and tools to keep our content fresh and engaging.
